So while i'm working on being the best I can be. I find myself getting lost in the worst of it. I can see myself doing what I want to do and being what I want to be, but as soon as I'm introduced to people who want what I want who are so opposite of their work I'm instantly IRRITATED! A true artist is a reflection of his/her canvas. Does your work reflect you?
Saturday I was in the studio and these two guys came in to record something and all I heard was "I fuck bitches, I got ice on my chain, I got a expensive car" Blah Blah Blah. That is just WACK because no the fuck you don't. Just once I would like to meet a new rapper who is rapping about what he really has. That would be great.
Ohhh and then one of them had the audacity to say to me "I ghost write too ma" wow! As unimportant that was to my ears i almost threw up! Nigga, don't be silly, you couldn't write a good morning text message for me. Let alone 16 bars.. Taaha.
Music make me emotional, the youth saddens me. Like seriously, the lack of originality is like an dagger in my ipod (the closest thing to my heart)... Maybe 2Pac was right
